I was a huge fan of the Aeon Flux animated series from liquid televsion so I was really looking forward to this movie. Originally I saw this on VOD from Charter cable. It was okay; the movie is goofy and the script is not the best. When selecting this HD DVD I was hoping the True HD and video quality would make this movie more engaging … it did. There are details lost in SD that are revealed in beautiful bright HD detail. Additionally the audio is perfectly mixed in this HD DVD providing the necessary ambient audio to create a true immersive environment. Even my wife liked the movie this time around.

Video/Image: 4/5 (the apocalyptic based furture environments look awesome)
Audio: 5/5 (its the detail, the blades of metallic grass and poisonous darts that make this audio complete)
